My Walk in the Armor of God

The Armor of God is not a list of spiritual accessories — it is a Person. Jesus Christ is the Belt of Truth, the Breastplate of Righteousness, the Gospel of Peace, the Shield of Faith, the Helmet of Salvation, and the Sword of the Spirit. When you put on the full armor of God, you are putting on Christ.
This poem is a bold, Spirit-filled declaration of what it means to stand fully dressed in Him — equipped, protected, and walking worthy with SWAG.

My Walk in the Armor of God
JESUS IS THE ARMOR OF GOD
I ABIDE IN JESUS AND HE ABIDE IN ME, THEREBY I HAVE THE TRUTH INSIDE OF ME, I HAVE THAT TRUTH THAT SET ME FREE. I WALK AWAY FROM HIM WHO LIES ON ME, AND WALK WITH HIM WHO ABIDES IN ME.
I AM THE RIGHTEOUSNESS OF GOD THROUGH JESUS CHRIST, SIN HAS NO HOLD ON ME, PRAISE THE LORD I’M FREE. I AM NO LONGER A SLAVE TO SIN, I AM EQUIPPED TO WIN. MY GOD SAID THE BATTLE IS HIS, YOU’VE LOST THIS FIGHT, I’M WALKING WORTHY, I’M FREE, I’M LIVING RIGHT.
I HAVE PEACE WITH GOD BECAUSE OF JESUS CHRIST, HE HAS GIVEN ME THE FREEDOM TO WALK AWAY FROM CONFUSION AND STRIFE, AND I WILL PURSUE PEACE AND PROMOTE PEACE AND LIVE A PEACEFUL LIFE
JESUS IS THE AUTHOR AND FINISHER OF MY FAITH, MY HEART AND MIND ARE SHIELDED FROM SATAN’S FALSE ACCUSATIONS THAT HE MAKES, SO FOR THE TEST, TRIALS AND TEMPTATIONS YOU TRY TO PUT ON ME, I QUENCH THEM ALL WITH THE FAITH THAT IS IN ME, I WALK IN VICTORY.
SALVATION IS MINE BECAUSE OF CHRIST; HE DIED FOR ME THAT I MIGHT HAVE A LIFE. CHRIST PAID THE PRICE; DEATH HAS NO STING. I HAVE EVERLASTING LIFE AND I’M BLESSED WITH HEAVEN’S EVERYTHING.
JESUS IS THAT SPIRIT THAT DWELLS INSIDE OF ME, HE IS ALSO THE WORD OF GOD THAT IS HIDDEN IN THE HEART OF ME, NOW CAN YOU IMAGINE THE WEAPON THAT GOD HAS MADE OF ME
SATAN YOU HAVE NOTHING TO BOAST OR TO BRAG, I AM DIVINELY CREATED, WALKING WORTHY WITH SWAG.

Walking Worthy Reflection
You Are a Weapon in God’s Hands
Every piece of the armor points back to Jesus. The truth that sets you free is Him (John 14:6). The righteousness you stand in is His (2 Corinthians 5:21). The peace that guards your heart is His peace (Philippians 4:7). The faith that quenches every fiery dart is a gift from Him (Ephesians 2:8).
When you abide in Christ and His Word abides in you, you become the weapon God has made you to be. Satan has nothing to boast about. You are divinely created, fully equipped, and walking worthy — with SWAG.
Self-Examination
Sit With These Questions
Which piece of the armor have you been leaving off? Where in your life are you fighting in your own strength instead of standing in His? Are you abiding in the Word daily, or has the Sword of the Spirit grown dull from neglect?
Read this poem aloud as your declaration today. You are dressed. You are equipped. You are a praying warrior. Now stand.
Prayer
Lord, I put on the full armor of God today — every piece, in Jesus’ name. I stand in Your truth, Your righteousness, Your peace, Your faith, Your salvation, and Your Word. I am no longer a slave to sin. The battle belongs to You and You have already won. I am a praying warrior, standing in Your power and Your might. Satan, you have nothing on me. I am divinely created, walking worthy — with SWAG — for the glory of God. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
