Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path.
In Poetry Form
The Word of Truth You have planted inside of me.
The Gospel of my salvation—such great gifts You provided for me.
Christ died for me; I didn’t get a harsh sentence.
And because of His love for me, I turn from sin
and walk in godly repentance.
Direct my steps by Your Word
and let no sin have dominion over me.
Your Word is a lamp to my feet
and a light of the path guiding me.
Your truth shall always free me.
Your love shall always mold me.
Your Word shall always heal me.
Your blood shall always cleanse me.
And if I fall into sin and iniquity,
godly remorse You shall find within me.
And You, Lord, promise to always love me
and forgive me.
